Our Visit to Sinai Academy
Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. We went to the synagogue and saw the Rabbi.The boys were wearing a kippah and we read their Bible that was back to front.The boys had to sit at one side and the girls had to sit at the other side.We saw their Ark and Scrolls. We had Shabbat with the Jewish children.We ate the delicious Challah bread.We had lovely grape juice.The challah bread was weirdly shaped.We sang hebrew songs.The Jewish have a Rosh Hoshanah which means a holiday. I enjoyed the morning with the Jewish children.I respect their religion that they celebrate.
